Cacophonous to release 21 year old 'Dusk... And Her Embrace - The Original Sin' on July 8th

A piece of Black Metal history has been lying dormant for over two decades, deep in the shadowy abyss of dust-ridden, musty vaults. The authors of this forbidden rite decided the world was not quite ready for its offering in 1995, and thus locked it away from the light. But the years passed, and gradually it's power grew too strong. Freed from its vault by genre-defining creators CRADLE OF FILTH and the recently resurrected extreme music label CACOPHONOUS, the two have joined forces to finally unshackle the unreleased sophomore album 'DUSK... AND HER EMBRACE - THE ORIGINAL SIN' as a CD and digital album on 8th July. A vinyl LP version will be available later this year.

AND HER EMBRACE - THE ORIGINAL SIN' saw CRADLE OF FILTH introduce Gothic elements to their extreme sound, focusing on decadent vampyric romanticism, death and loss, and forbidden love. However soon after recording the band split, half of the band forming The Blood Divine, and the remaining members made the collective decision at the time to not release a record that was not representative of the new line-up. Now with the resurrection of Cacophonous, 'DUSK... AND HER EMBRACE - THE ORIGINAL SIN' will see the light of day. Re-mastered by Scott Atkins at Ipswich’s Grindstone Studio, the record comprises of 10 studio album tracks, 2 bonus demo tracks and artwork by Drake Mefestta.
